TELESCOPING STEEL SECTION SIZE GUIDE

*WITH PRECISION SLIDE; Hub Products Tube Sliders provide a precision telescoping slide between standard SHS steel sections. 

To use this chart, first take the outer RHS size you require, take 2 x t +1mm away from this size. From the chart, select an inner size RHS that comes close to your requirements, allowing the desired clearance. Remember that all RHS made under the ERW method of production will have an internal weld bead of approximately 1.0mm in height. Another factor to take into consideration is the corner radii as these may differ for each tube manufacturer. Not all available sizes of RHS are listed.
